Financial Accessibility
Quality Mental Health Care Should Be Within Reach
At Path Forward Counseling, I recognize that financial hardship can make it difficult to seek counseling, particularly during life's most challenging seasons.
While maintaining a sustainable private practice is essential to providing high-quality care, I also believe that financial circumstances should not always be the reason someone goes without support.
To help increase access to counseling, Path Forward Counseling offers several financial accessibility options on a limited basis.
Financial Accessibility Program
The Financial Accessibility Program provides reduced-fee counseling for individuals, couples, and families experiencing temporary financial hardship.
Clients interested in the program are invited to submit a brief letter describing their current financial circumstances and why they are requesting reduced-fee services.
Financial documentation such as tax returns, bank statements, or pay stubs is not required.
Participation is based on:
Demonstrated financial need
Clinical appropriateness
Current program availability
Reduced-fee services are approved for six months and may be renewed one time if financial hardship continues.
Because Everyone Deserves to Be Heard
Seeking counseling is an investment in your health, relationships, and future. If financial concerns are preventing you from reaching out, I encourage you to contact me. Together, we can discuss whether one of these programs may be an appropriate fit for your circumstances.
Beginning Teacher Wellness Program
The transition into teaching can be both exciting and overwhelming.
Path Forward Counseling offers the Beginning Teacher Wellness Program to support first- and second-year Pre-K through Grade 12 educators as they navigate the emotional demands of the profession.
Eligible teachers may receive counseling at a significantly reduced rate while participating in the program.
Availability is limited and participation is based on program availability.
Pro Bono Continuation of Care
Life can change unexpectedly.
For established clients who have consistently participated in counseling for at least one year, limited pro bono services may be available during periods of unexpected financial hardship.
This program is intended to provide temporary continuity of care while clients navigate short-term financial challenges.
Eligibility and participation are determined solely at the counselor's discretion, are subject to availability, and are limited to a single three-month period.
