Couples Counseling in Florida (Online)
Couples therapy is a space to understand the patterns you keep getting stuck in and learn how to relate to each other in a way that actually works.
Most couples don’t struggle because they don’t care—they struggle because they don’t yet have the tools to navigate conflict, stress, and disconnection.
You might be here if…
You’re having the same arguments over and over
Communication turns into frustration, shutdown, or escalation
You feel disconnected or like you’re missing each other
Trust has been strained or broken
Life stress is putting pressure on your relationship
My Role
My role is to help you slow down what’s happening between you so we can understand the cycle you’re stuck in, not just the surface-level arguments.
We’ll focus on communication, emotional awareness, and learning how to respond to each other in ways that create more clarity and connection.
This isn’t about assigning blame or deciding who’s right. It’s about building a relationship that feels more stable, more intentional, and more sustainable.
Couples counseling can be provided from either a secular or faith-based Christian perspective, depending on the values, preferences, and goals of the couple. In either approach, sessions remain practical, relationship-focused, and centered on helping couples strengthen communication, repair, connection, and shared understanding.
What we might focus on:
Communication and conflict patterns
Emotional connection and attachment
Repairing trust and rebuilding safety
Navigating stress and major life transitions
Understanding each partner’s needs and responses
Therapy doesn’t remove conflict—it helps you handle it differently.
Gottman Method & Prepare/Enrich
My work with couples is informed by the Gottman Method and I also offer the Prepare/Enrich assessment as part of pre-marital and marital counseling sessions.
The Gottman Method focuses on building practical relationship skills, including communication, conflict management, and strengthening emotional connection. It is grounded in decades of research on what helps relationships succeed long-term.
Prepare/Enrich is a structured assessment that helps identify strengths and growth areas in your relationship. It provides a clear roadmap for conversations around topics like communication, finances, expectations, and roles, allowing sessions to be more focused and intentional.
Together, these approaches offer both insight and actionable tools to help you build a strong, lasting foundation for your relationship.
